Disclaimer: This hardware SKU will be discontinued due to lack of availability of critical components driven by the ongoing global silicon shortage crisis, with a last request to buy date on June 30, 2022. For more details, visit our .
It is recommended that buyers of this impacted SKU migrate to our new Supply Secure Photon 2 HDK, available for purchase at volume in Q1 2023. This migration will require minimal hardware and firmware changes, as this new SKU is API compatible with both the Photon and Argon, as well as footprint compatible with the Argon.
Buy this hardware and start building with Particle's Free Plan which includes support for up to 100 devices, cellular data, and fully-featured platform access with no time limit.
The Particle Air Quality Monitor Kit is designed to teach you how to investigate the air around you using Particle IoT hardware and software. This kit includes everything you need to build your monitoring station as well as the tutorials and documentation to keep you learning.
This kit is built around the Particle Argon, our latest Wi-Fi development board. You'll learn how to provision your Argon, build the device, and wire and deploy your firmware over-the-air. Once you're up and running, you'll then learn how to output measurement data on the included OLED and how to forward those same sensor readings to the Particle Device Cloud.
The Air Quality Monitor Kit includes a Particle Argon and three specialized sensors to measure temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, and particulates in the atmosphere. All necessary wires to complete the project are included in the kit — this goes for wires, an antennae, and even a LiPo battery.
Note: This kit is best used indoors where Wi-Fi signals are strongest. For a cellular version of this kit, please see the Air Quality Monitor Kit (LTE) also available in our store.
Skill level: The kit assumes no prior experience with IoT. It is best for those interested in learning more about the air around them. Check out our Air Quality Monitor Kit blog tutorial here!
