This kit is built around the Particle Boron, our latest cellular LTE development board. You'll learn how to provision your Boron, build the device, and wire and deploy your firmware over-the-air. Once you're up and running, you'll then learn how to output measurement data on the included OLED and how to forward those same sensor readings to the Particle Device Cloud.
The Air Quality Monitor Kit includes a Particle Boron with support for LTE cellular connectivity and three specialized sensors to measure temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, and particulates in the atmosphere. All necessary wires to complete the project are included in the kit — this goes for wires, an antennae, and even a LiPo battery.
Skill level: The kit assumes no prior experience with IoT. It is best for those interested in learning more about the air around them. Check out our Air Quality Monitor Kit blog tutorial here!
Note: For indoor air quality monitoring, consider the Wi-Fi version of this kit. The Air Quality Monitor Kit (Wi-Fi) includes all the same sensors and components, but swaps an Argon for the Boron LTE.
