Description

The E404X is a LTE Cat M1 cellular device with support for BLE (Bluetooth LE). It is specifically designed for mass scale manufacturing and integration. It is based on the Nordic nRF52840 microcontroller shared with other Gen 3 devices such as the Boron and B Series SoM. It is only intended for use in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

It is a SMD module designed to be reflowed to your own custom base board and is the same size and footprint as other E Series modules and has mostly compatible pin functions..

If you are migrating from the E402 or E404, there is a migration guide available.This module is not recommended for new designs. New designs should use the B404X SoM instead.
